Closure of Spidina Crescent

posted Jan 6, 2017, 1:26 PM by David Dahlem
This notice was

issued by Councillor Randy

Rooke.

In response to the RM’s inquiry
and concern regarding the
closure of Spadina Cresent,
Angela Gardiner, the
Director of Transportation
for the City of Saskatoon
will be in attendance at the
RM offices this coming Monday,
Jan 9th, 2017 at 11:30 AM
to hear our
concerns. It is VERY
IMPORTANT that everyone that
wants to keep the road open
attend the meeting and be
prepared to tell her that WE
WANT THE ROAD KEPT OPEN and
WE ARE OPPOSED TO THE
CLOSURE OF 11th St and AVE P
at the Water Treatment
Plant. I have found that if
there are a huge number of
ratepayers in attendance
when a matter is being
discussed, it does make
difference to the outcome,
so PLEASE ATTEND. Spread the
word to your friends and
neighbours that might not
get the Crime Watch emails.
The fate of our closest
access to the City centre is
in your hand hands.

The city has projected
that the bus barns will be
operational on or about
January 12. We will either see
a very smooth transition with
next to no traffic
implications, or it will be a
veritable zoo just before the
South Bridge access. Place
your bets now.
